Accessibility Statement

Our accessibility target, how we test, known limitations, and how to report a barrier.

Our commitment

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA across the public marketplace, account access, and the candidate and recruiter workspaces.

What we have implemented

  • Keyboard access to navigation, search, dialogs, and every workflow control, with a visible focus indicator.
  • A skip link that moves focus directly to the main content.
  • Labelled form controls, grouped fieldsets, and error messages linked to their inputs.
  • Accessible dialog semantics with labels, Escape handling, and focus return.
  • Landmarks and heading order that reflect the visible structure.
  • Colour combinations checked against AA contrast thresholds.
  • Support for reduced-motion preferences.

How we test

Every release runs automated axe-core checks against the public home page, account access, candidate dashboard, application tracker, and application detail, and fails if a serious or critical issue is found. Automated testing is combined with manual keyboard checks.

Automated tools cannot detect every barrier, so this statement reflects a target rather than a guarantee.

Known limitations

  • Screen reader testing has not yet covered every assistive technology and browser combination.
  • Some long-form content has not been reviewed for plain-language readability.
  • Features that are not yet released have not been assessed.

Report a barrier

If you cannot complete a task, contact support@internshift.in and describe the page, the assistive technology you used, and what happened. We will acknowledge your report and give an expected resolution time.
